Hello! I'm Andy, the founder of LeWay Math Tutoring. For over two decades, I've had the privilege of helping high school and college students navigate the world of mathematics. My high school students even call me the "Math Magician" due to my ability to simplify complex problems – and that's precisely what LeWay is all about.

My journey into tutoring began when I realized the profound impact a clear explanation could have on a student struggling with a complex concept. It was in those "aha!" moments that I discovered my LeWay – a unique approach to teaching that focuses on breaking down challenging topics into understandable, manageable steps.

My goal is not only to help students complete their homework and ace their tests but also to develop their critical thinking skills by asking concise questions, providing constructive feedback, and challenging them with difficult problems to enhance their long-term memory. I believe it's important to point out their mistakes and help them improve upon them.

My 15 years of teaching at private high schools and 25 years of private tutoring have truly refined this "LeWay" into a proven method. In my opinion, a great mentor is like a skilled doctor with a solid background and extensive experience in their respective fields – able to diagnose and provide the appropriate treatment, saving valuable time and effort.
